Halloween is just around the corner, but you still have time to scare up a great party. Creating party fun can get expensive but it doesn’t have to break the bank. These easy DIY Halloween party crafts are fun to create and are Halloween party and trick-or-treat goodies everyone will love.

Flying Halloween Goody Bag

This game is so fun to create and even more fun to play. I have created this game for football parties, Christmas parties, birthday parties and more. I think the adults like this one more then the kids, haha.

Easy DIY Halloween Party Crafts

Items Needed

  • Card Stock
  • Deco Art Acrylic Paint – Orange, Black, and Glow in The Dark
  • Sponge Brush
  • Large Straw
  • Twine Or Yarn
  • Glue Dots
  • Balloon
  • Plastic Goody Bag
  • Candy

Easy DIY Halloween Party Crafts

Directions

  1. Cut a pumpkin pattern out of the card stock.
  2. Paint the pumpkin with the orange and black paint, orange first then black while it is still wet.
  3. If there is to much black, add more orange.
  4. After the paint is dry, add two coats of the glow in the dark paint, be sure to let that dry 10 minutes in between coats.
  5. Using the black paint marker, draw eyes, nose, and mouth on the pumpkin.

Easy DIY Halloween Party Crafts

  1. Glue the pumpkin to one side of the straw.
  2. Now glue the balloon to the other side of the straw.
  3. Cut the string as long as you need it to be.
  4. Tie one piece of the string to something.
  5. place the straw onto the string, be sure the mouth part of the balloon is facing you.
  6. Put some candy in a candy bag.
  7. Glue the candy bag to the inside of the pumpkin.
  8. Hold the opposite end of the string that is tied and blow up the balloon and let it go down the string to the trick or treater.

Vampire Blood Cocktail

Items Needed

  • ½ Cup Red Wine
  • Edible Gold Luster
  • ½ Cup Rebecca Creek Whiskey or Texas Ranger Whiskey
  • Dry Ice
  • ½ Cup Cola
  • Glass Or Plastic Punch Bowl

Directions

  1. Place wine, whiskey, and cola in glass or plastic punch bowl.
  2. Sprinkle gold luster on top of the mixture.
  3. Carefully add dry ice, do not touch it to your skin, use tongs or gloves.

Easy DIY Halloween Party Crafts

Easy Halloween DIY Charcuterie Board

Charcuterie boards are all the rage and creating a Halloween charcuterie board is not only easy, it’s a lot of fun. Just make a list of all your favorite Halloween treats, and place them around a board.

Items Needed

  • Large Board – Mine is 24″ x 24″
  • Deco Art Acrylic Paint – Black
  • Sponge Brush
  • All Your Favorite Halloween Goodies

Directions

  1. Paint the board, you may need 2 coats, let them dry 10 minutes in between coats.
  2. Start placing all your goodies around the board, there is no exact way to do it, just have fun. 
  3. You may want to use small bowls for the little things like m&m’s.

Halloween Character Decor

Create some easy Halloween party crafts with a few wood squares, some paint, and a piece of ribbon. This is another craft I have created for almost every holiday. You can buy the wood squares in bulk, and make a few of these signs for friends and family for every holiday.

Items Needed

  • 5″ x 5″ Wood Squares
  • Deco Art Acrylic Paint – Black, Orange, Green, White
  • Deco Art Paint Markers
  • Sponge Brush,
  • Pipe Cleaners in Black
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Halloween Ribbon

Easy DIY Halloween Party Crafts

Directions

  1. Paint 1 square white, 1 square orange, 1 square black, and 1 square green.
  2. Draw a pumpkin face on the orange square.
  3. Paint the green square black at the top with a jagged edge for Frankenstein’s hair. 
  4. Using the white paint pen, draw 2 circle eyes with a notch at the bottom and a smile on the black square.
  5. Glue the pipe cleaners to the back of the black square for the spider legs, kink them if you would like to.
  6. Paint a Frankenstein face on the green square, follow the picture for ideas.
  7. For the ghost, paint 2 circle eyes, and a smile with the black paint marker on the white square.
  8. Cut the Halloween Ribbon about 2 – 3 feet long, depending on how big your squares are.
  9. Glue the squares onto the ribbon, in whatever order you would like, about 1 inch apart, then glue a loop at the top of the ribbon.

 

You’ve Been Booed Basket

This is a great gift to give your neighbors and get them to pass it around. Just grab a basket or box even, and fill it with all kinds of Halloween goodies. Be sure to put a note in it telling the recipient to pass it along to the next neighbor with their favorite Halloween goodies.

Items Needed

  • Small Laundry Basket 
  • Tissue Paper or Crinkle Paper
  • Halloween Candy
  • Pumpkin
  • Halloween Brownies
  • Pumpkin Carving Kit
  • Halloween Toys
  • “You’ve Been Booed” Sign
  • Halloween Ribbon

Directions

  1. Fill the bottom of the basket with tissue paper or crinkle paper.
  2. Start adding all the Halloween goodies into the basket.
  3. Tie a bow around the basket.
  4. Place the “You’ve Been Booed” sign in the basket with the instructions.
  5. Leave it on your neighbors porch.

Yummy Candy Corn Candy Dish

This is one of my favorite easy DIY Halloween party crafts to make, I actually love making these for every holiday. They are perfect to give away as a gift, or just place on your table for everyone to enjoy a sweet treat throughout the day.

Items Needed

  • 4” Clay Pot
  • 3” Clay Pot Saucer
  • 4” Plastic Bowl
  • Black Acrylic Paint
  • Sponge Brush
  • Halloween Ribbon
  • E600 Glue
  • Halloween Ribbon

Directions

  1. Paint the clay pot and the saucer black, you may need two coats, let the first coat dry before you add the second coat.
  2. Place the clay pot upside down, be sure to paint the bottom of it.
  3. Glue the plastic bowl to the bottom of the clay pot.
  4. Let the glue dry overnight.
  5. Fill the bowl with candy corn, or your favorite Halloween candy.
  6. Tie or glue a ribbon around the outside of the clay pot.
