Happy Halloween!!! It’s time to pull out the pumpkins and decorate the goblins. But you don’t have to break the bank to create some DIY Halloween party fun. Head over to your local dollar store, or you may even have some of these items in your home already.
Make DIY Halloween Party Fun And Easy
All of these spooky projects are fun and easy to create, and you can always change them up to fit what you are trying to do for your own Halloween night. The pumpkin plates are perfect to give those trick-or-treaters.
Pumpkin Plate Candy Stick
This is such a fun craft for anyone to create. It’s very inexpensive, and is perfect for a takeaway at a Halloween party, or given to a trick-or-treater.
Items Needed
- 6-7 Inch Paper Plates
- Glue Dots
- Candy
- Skewer Sticks (4 For Each Pumpkin)
- Scotch Tape
- Orange Tissue Paper
- Curly Ribbon
- Black Construction Paper
- Scissors
Directions
- Take 4 skewers and tape them together.
- Place the sticks all the way into one of the plates.
- Fill that plate with candy and glue dot another plate on top of it.
- Place the tissue paper over the 2 plates and tape the back side.
- Using the curly ribbon, tie the tissue paper at the bottom.
- Cut pumpkin triangles for the face out of the black construction paper.
- Glue dot the face parts onto the pumpkin.

Halloween Party Sign
This easy-to-create sign can be made with wood, paper, or even cardboard. With a little paint and some creativity, you can make it in as little as 30 minutes.
Smoked Old Goblin
A whiskey Old Fashioned is my absolute favorite cocktail. I’ve kicked it up a bit with this Rum take on a black cherry smoked Old Fashioned.
Items Needed
- 2 oz Wildcat Brothers Spiced Rum
- 3 Black Cherries
- 3-5 Drops of Orange Bitters
- Ice
- Old Fashioned Simple Syrup
Directions
- Fill a rock glass with ice.
- Add all of the ingredients and stir.
Pumpkin Tic Tack Toe
With a little wood, paint, and some ingenuity, you can pretty much create anything. Tik Tack Toe is that game that everyone loves, so why not create one for Halloween?
Items Needed
- 18″ x 18″ Inch Piece Of Wood
- Black And Orange Acrylic Paint
- Sponge Brush
- 2 Different Colors of Glitter – Black and Orange
- Halloween Ribbon
- Hot Glue Gun
- 10 Small Styrofoam Balls
- Black Felt
Directions
- Cut the bottoms off of the Styrofoam balls.
- Paint 5 of the balls orange and cover them with orange glitter.
- Shake the excess glitter off.
- Then paint 5 of the balls black and cover them with black glitter.
- Shake the excess glitter off.
- Cut circles out of the black felt the same size as the bottoms of the styrofoam balls.
- Hot glue the felt circles to the bottom of the foam balls.
- Paint the wood with black paint and let it dry.
- Paint the tick-tack toe lines with orange paint and let them dry.
- Hot glue the Halloween ribbon around the outside of the board.
Halloween Wreath
You should know that I love to reuse anything and everything I can. So when it comes to wreaths for my door, I have reused this grapevine wreath, and the greenery for over 2 years for every holiday. I just add seasonal picks and ribbons as the seasons change.
Items Needed
- Grapevine Wreath
- Greenery Bushes
- Fall Leaf and Floral Bushes
- Halloween Ribbon
- Halloween Sign
- Pipe Cleaners
Directions
- Add the greenery and the fall leaves to the wreath, just stick them where you want them to go.
- Make bows out of the Halloween ribbon by cutting 18″ strips and folding both ends into the middle and tieing them off with the pipe cleaners.
- Tie the pipe cleaner ribbon bows to the wreath.
- Use a pipe cleaner to adhere the sign to the wreath.
- Make a loop with a pipe cleaner and tie it to the back of the wreath to hang it from your door.
