It’s Halloween Day and you just got invited to a Halloween Party. Well, check out these last minute Halloween costumes that you can create and that won’t break the bank.

Last Minute Halloween Costumes

Duct Tape Martian

If you have duct tape and cardboard, you can pretty much create anything. I added some Christmas lights and plastic bowls to this and made a martian costume that you can wear on your head.

Items Needed

  • Silver Duct Tape
  • Large Cardboard
  • 2 Clear Plastic Bowls
  • Glue Dots
  • Battery Operated Christmas Lights
  • Iridescent Fringe

Directions

  1. Cut 2 large circles out of the cardboard, and make them the same size around 2 feet wide.
  2. Cut a smaller circle in the middle of each circle, smaller than the plastic bowl.
  3. Cut a slit from the outside edge of the cardboard to the inside edge of the small circle.
  4. Pull the cut edge over the other side so that it makes the circle bulge a little, then duct tape it.
  5. Do the same with the other piece of cardboard.
  6. Now duct tape the two circles together to make your spaceship.
  7. Print up a martian head to place it in the bowl.
  8. String the Christmas lights all around the bottom of the spaceship. You can stick them on with glue dots and duct tape.
  9. Using the glue dots, glue the martian bowl to the top of the spaceship.
  10. Tape the fringe to the outside of the spaceship.
  11. Now glue the other bowl to the bottom as a hat. You could also use an old baseball hat for this.
  12. For extra strength, tape some ribbon or string to tie around your head.

  • Water Balloons
  • Jelly Belly Sign You (Can Print This On The Printer)
  • Glue Dots

Directions

  1. Blow up about 30 – 50 balloons in different colors,
  2. Fill the plastic bag with the balloons.
  3. Tie the top of the bag, leaving some string or ribbon so you can tie it around your neck.
  4. Glue dot the Jelly Belly sign onto the top of the bag.
