Coffee And Inspiration
One of my favorite things to do on a Fall day is grab a magazine and a cup of coffee and get lost in the inspiration I get from the magazine. When I want to get creative, I get inspired through magazines like Better Homes & Gardens, Martha Stewart, and Southern Living. I also get some great travel inspiration from Southern Living.
Creating Great Things From Inspiration
From recipes to home decor, I always get inspired when I read Better Homes & Gardens, Martha Stewart, and Southern Living. The recipes are always easy to follow, and I love putting my own spin on some of the creative DIY projects they share. The Stews and Brews article inspired me to write a blog post about the best soups and stews I’ve created from family recipes.
After reading the Stews And Brews article in the October edition of Southern Living, I pulled out my recipe book and looked back at all the soups and stews I’ve created over the years. Some of my recipes have been passed down through generations. Other recipes were created out of desperation, and wanting something different to feed the family.

Fall Inspiration
I was also inspired to create some fun Fall wreaths for my TV segments from the wreaths that were created in the Let’s Celebrate Season section of the September issue of Southern Living. They have some great ideas to get inspired for decorating your front door for Fall.
I created this wreath with just 4 items, and it only took me 10 minutes to create it. No hot glue was required for this Fall wreath, which makes it perfect to reuse throughout the holiday season.

Inspiration To Travel Comes From Magazines
As I said earlier, I get inspired through magazines when I get ready to travel. I had just posted a leaf peeping in America post, and noticed that the October edition of Southern Living had a great article about Autumn In The Ozarks. I am now inspired to visit the Ozarks during the Fall season. Every issue of Southern Living has inspiration for traveling to different parts of the south. I like that they share restaurants, places to stay, and things to do.
