Create The Perfect “Big Game” Party
I have been watching the “Big Game” since I could talk. Our neighbors would come over, most of them were from Chicago, so I grew up loving the Chicago Bears, and I still do, even if they aren’t doing so good right now. We would always create the perfect “Big Game” party with all the yummy food and decorations, and of course I was in charge of the decorations.
Now that I am older, I still love to create the perfect “Big Game” party, whether there are 20 people there or just my husband and I.
Individual 7 Layer Dip Cups
Items Needed
- Small plastic cups
- Refried beans
- Guacamole
- Sour cream
- Dom’s Chop Salsa
- Shredded cheddar cheese
- Sliced black olives
- Chopped tomatoes
- Chopped chives
- Tortilla chips
- This is a really easy snack to make ahead of time.
- You can scoop the refried beans right out of the can or you can heat the beans up first.
- Place a layer of beans into the plastic cup, then a layer of guacamole, layer of sour cream, layer of picante sauce and a layer shredded cheese.
- If you are making them ahead of time, then cover at this point and place in the refrigerator.
- Before you serve them, add diced tomatoes, sliced olives, and chopped chives.
- Decorate with a tortilla chip and enjoy.
You could also create a 7 layer dip bar so your guests can pick what they would like in their individual cups, you can make the base, refried beans, guacamole and sour cream, ahead of time and place them in the refrigerator.

Table Decor
Table Runner
Items Needed
- Roll of white craft paper
- Americana acrylic paint in white and green
- Sponge Brush
- Thin paint brush
- Deco Art green paint marker
- Deco Art white paint marker
- Yard stick
- First, cut your paper runner about 6 inches longer than your table.
- Next, using the yard stick or ruler, measure the length of the paper and divide it by 10.
- You will want it to look like you have the correct amount of yards for your football field.
- I used a ruler to measure the thickness of my yard lines.
- Because the paper is white, you will only need to paint the green part.
- Using the green Deco Art paint marker, draw straight lines where the yard lines will be.
- Now paint in between the yard lines, only paint one layer so that the paper won’t curl.
- Let the paint dry at least 30 minutes.
- Draw your yard line numbers either by using a Deco Art paint marker or using white paint and a thin paint brush.
- Let it dry and place it in the middle of your table.
- Now it’s time to fill that football field with all your Super Bowl snacks.
