Did 2020 Destroy 2021 For Us

The year of 2020 really took a tole on us all, it didn’t destroy us, but how will we recoup in 2021. So much bad happened, and some good, but mainly bad. My new job was taken away and gone forever. My business had to pivot, a lot, and traveling around the country like I have for  years was completely put on hold. I did get to explore some of the state I live in, Texas, and I did build a few things around my home.

Picking Your Word Of The Year

How do you pick a word for a year that is so uncertain still. Well, my philosophy has always been to get up, brush it off, suck it up buttercup, and move on. But how, how do we trust ourselves and our feelings of starting over? Starting another 365 days with so much uncertainty still. We just do it, so what should my word be? I still don’t know, I hope to find it soon. Here is a list of 100 words that could help us all find that right “2021 Word Of The Year”.

How Do We Move On

I heard a quote on a movie the other day, one of my favorite movies, Castaway. “I know what I have to do now, I have to keep breathing for tomorrow, because the sun will rise again”. This will definitely be my quote for 2021, but what is my word? does my year halt until I figure out that 2021 word of the year? No, I get up, I breath, and I keep working on my dream, my life, my hopes, and my world keeps moving on.

What Is My 2021 Word Of The Year

I struggled with this, but my 2021 word of the year is FOCUS. There are so many things I want and need to focus on this year. The need to focus on my business, my life, my family, my friends, and most of all my vision for the future is very important right now. I also picked Focus because I want to concentrate on my photography and video knowledge. This is kind of ironic, as you have to focus to take a great photo. I hope you find your word of the year, but I really hope after all is said and done, you have the best year you possibly can. I pray for our country and I pray for my family and friends. God bless us all.
